The Applied Mathematics Laboratory supports the teaching and research needs of the School of Science & Technology (SST) in both undergraduate and postgraduate level, in matters that fall within the laboratory’s area of expertise. In particular, we develop educational material for the undergraduate courses in Natural Sciences and Computer Science, as well as for the postgraduate courses (master courses) in Mathematics and Bioinformatics & Neuroinformatics.
The teaching material for the undergraduate students in Natural Sciences consists of up-to-date teaching facilities and electronic means, such as
- Modern slide show with recorded video / audio (webcast).
- Introductory self-assessment diagnostic test and supportive overlay to cover any knowledge gaps in Mathematics.
The Applied Mathematics Laboratory supports also postgraduate theses in Applied Mathematics.
